SIMDA aims to promote Indian Music, Art and culture in Australia and to impart quality education through a well organised and systematic curriculum that is covered over 3 levels: Gold, Diamond & Platinum


We offer a comprehensive, sequential curriculum delivered in a caring, positive environment where each

student is a valued contributor and is encouraged to develop as an individual to their potential.


Our courses are designed with minimal theory with more emphasis on practical training in learning

traditional and modern music. All our courses are flexible and sensitive to the needs of students at all

levels and ages.


The Hindustani Classical Music Program is a classical oriented course that consists of history of Indian

Music and curriculum of Ragas and Raga based Geet, Ghazals, Thumri, Bhajans, Gurubani Shabad and old

movie classical based songs.


It also include knowledge of various Taals and Laya, Tanpura training, Vocal Coaching, Harmonium,

Keyboard and Tabla playing, Stage Performance etc.
